We own our own production facilities in Asia. and have close relationships with many others.
As manufacturers, direct importers, and wholesalers we are extremely cost effective - there are no middlemen involved in our operation.

Sheres is one of the leading companies in the design and production of furniture. It comprises two companies, each a leader in its own sector; Sheres Designs, innovative furniture design and product design, and GSi Imports, a manufacturing and trading company. Together it provides a global offering with sales to dozens of countries around the world in six continents, and offices and production in Italy, China, and the U.S.A..

Our company was founded by Greg Sheres in 1987 and has a long history of industry leading design as well as top quality and great service. From the late 80's our factory produced sculptural stainless steel and granite tables which quickly reached international success for the company. In the 1990's Greg Sheres popularized a "new" design ideal; Classic Modernism, a fusion of the best design elements of the 20th century modern movements and current scale and finishes. The new millennium has brought a fresh look at clean modern and more environmentally friendly materials.

Our principle designer; Greg Sheres, has won numerous international design awards including "Best of Show" in High Point, and three ASFD Pinnacle finalist awards. He has designed for many factories in Italy, China, and the United States. To name a few; Molteni, Vandoni et fils., Baretta, Cattaneo, Elite leather, Directional, Preview/Ferguson Copeland, Hethi, all in addition to our own factories in America, Italy and China.

Our knowledge of design and crafting furniture sets Sheres apart. With our combination of skills we produce furniture that is both visually correct and functional. Our furniture is elegant and comfortable, sturdy, and with great attention to detail. We use fine woods and veneers, fabrics and leathers from all over the world, and hardware with the best function.
